Proxy Marriage in Pakistan

When one party cannot attend the nikah in person, a wakil (representative) can give consent on their behalf. ICTV prepares the authority documents and guides the registration.

About Proxy Marriage

In a proxy marriage, one party appoints a wakil by a written authority, and the wakil states that party's consent at the nikah in front of witnesses. It is often used by overseas Pakistanis and by people who cannot travel. What matters is that the absent party really consented, that the authority is clear and that the marriage is properly recorded.

We prepare the power of attorney or authority letter, advise on the attestation of documents signed abroad, arrange the nikah with witnesses and register the nikahnama. Afterwards we help you update NADRA records and prepare documents for visa or other use.
